This cycle is killing me. Will I crack T14?
Bolded my most likely option for attendance (which is not a bad option at all).
waitlist @ UCLA 4/02/2010
Not really feeling much of a reaction on this one. Not sure I could afford out of state tuition for Cali anyway.

Every day that passes feels like eternity, and my confidence plummets.
Hi.

Where did you attend for undergrad?

Sigh. That feels like a soft rejection.

Your results are impressive. Imagine being admitted to Chicago, Duke or Columbia and facing the possibility of turning down WashUStL with $38,000 per year.

that would certainly mess with my existence.
I'm sort of hoping notre dame pulls through for personal reasons.

If I am realistic with myself, I look at all these waitlists as soft rejections except maybe BU and ND. It just seems like too much of a coincidence that the rest waitlisted me all within basically a week of each other.

As if I didn't see this coming, judging by how my cycle has been going.

5 admits
9 hold/waitlist/reserve (on matured to a ding)
7 striaght dings

Now to decide how many of these waitlists I actually care about

Washington St. Louis sounds like an amazing offer....it looks like even if you don't make it off any waiting lists you have a great opportunity.

Might I ask why you chose to write a LOCI to Boston U? Did you like that school more than others? Or just want to live in the Boston area rather than NYC or down south in Duke?

my girlfriend applied to their MBA program and is also on the waitlist. we are trying to keep options open to each other and see if it is possible and reasonable to be in the same place for school next year.
