As long as you graduate top of your class at Suffolk you can still work at Crane, Poole & Schmidt...

You just put a mint 1967 Mustang cobra GT500 next to a 1989 honda civic with a rusted frame, running on 3-cylinders, with no power windows or doorlocks next to each other and asked; which is better?

Well, yes, its a serious question because I like both of them but for very different reasons. Obviously BU is outstanding, but I was surprised to find I liked the tenor of Suffolk, as well as its focus on International and Health and Biomedical Law.
agree about the Mustang...

The focus is irrelevent, as neither field will be available to you after attending suffolk (unless you count plaintiff's personal injury as 'health and biomedical law.' Frankly, after going to suffolk, any job would be a blessing..

Met a Suffolk 1L at Starbucks a couple days ago, and the curriculum alone should make the decision for you. 5 classes that are year-long, with cumulative finals at the end that are worth between 75 and 90% of your grade (meaning that "midterms", winter finals, are worth 10-25%). Woof.

Suffolk is my safety...and I'm limited because I have to stay in the New England area and do part-time if possible. My daughter is a junior at Emerson so... that's why.

lol, maybe I need to head to NE more, but the only Suffolk "grad" I can think of was that 1st year associate that had a thing for Julie Bowen's character. Sorry I couldn't add anything substantive to the discussionsummerstar wrote:CP&S Really!!!!! I thought I could just go to the Practice!!! Wow!

That was the last confirmed report of a suffolk grad obtaining meaningful post-grad employment. There are also unconfirmed reports that he had to sleep with Candice bergen on the interview.anmo wrote:lol, maybe I need to head to NE more, but the only Suffolk "grad" I can think of was that 1st year associate that had a thing for Julie Bowen's character. Probably in the deleted scenes... or unrated director's cut. (that would be an amazing Xmas present... an HBO version of BL)

boston pecking order:summerstar wrote:ok, at the risk of starting even more fireworks, I also looked at New England Law|Boston.

#1. HLS
#2/#3: BU/BC (equal)
#4: Northeastern
#5: Suffolk
#6: New England
there are significant differences between any of those tiers. if you are get admitted to a higher school go there. the only time to violate tiers within boston would perhaps be suffolk full ride over northeastern sticker, but even that is a maybe depending on your debt aversion and career goals
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
