Have we been using the same website bilbo? From what I see on here according to most people NYC and California (especially the damn Bay Area. People act like that place is heaven on earth or something). are the only places worth living. Most people on here consider every other place in the country "TTT".

I couldnt leave CA unless i go to a major metropolitan like NY, Chicago, DC, Boston, etc.

CA also has great weather, so you won't freeze to death when you're sleeping in a cardboard box in winter.

I definitely see posters use CA's economy as a method of attacking its schools, especially UC schools.

Anyone retarded enough to need to be convinced to move to California doesn't deserve to be there.

Bilbo buddy, you know I had to respond. I spent 10+ years living in the Bay Area. Everything outside of San Francisco kind of sucks, or at least is very over-rated. Very high COL, it's really not as aesthetically pretty as the PNW (much drier), no four seasons, no mountains except in the Tahoe area, which is basically Nevada (the pussy hills in the Bay don't count), killer traffic, aesthetically flat in many areas, etc., not sure what else. Shopping and food? Food is good, shopping you can get anywhere. Beaches up north are a myth.

Pacific Northwest is muchhhhhh better than California, in particular Seattle/Portland. It's a lot prettier, nicer, and MUCH cleaner. PNW is also cheaper. Same vibe, but better overall.

I lived for a fair number of years in a city with 80%+ minorities in California (very typical of the Bay) and I have some immigrants in my family. Just to let you know, for those of you that want to be around "Americans," California probably isn't for you.

Supposedly San Francisco is the part that will break off when the plates shift and eventually end up with Alaska....which means the Bay will perish, because the rest of it sucks huge balls. Honestly though, SF is the only reason why California is considered a decent place to live. The rest of it pretty much blows and we both know that unless you make a good amount of money, you will most likely be living in a dumpy studio in the Tenderloin district in SF anyway.

You should all be looking at the PNW or Mountain region for a much higher COL.
