Why is Yale's NY bar passage rate so low? And Stanford's Cali rate is really impressive.

Yale students too busy studying impractical theoretical BS?69sofine wrote:Why is Yale's NY bar passage rate so low? And Stanford's Cali rate is really impressive.
Or 8% have zero work ethic.
I thought the NY Bar was supposed to be easy. UVA had 99% bar passage rate.

I think if you go to my profile and read my posts, you'll agree that I was none of the above.JSUVA2012 wrote:It's still possible you were illogical, stupid, and struggled with reading comp but still came to the correct conclusion.

Either that, or I looked it up after the original leak - you have to take certain classes to qualify (and maybe someone didn't take them or failed them or something like that - or maybe it doesn't work for transfers?)flhealth wrote:C&F issuesveritas85 wrote:How come wisco isn't 100%?69sofine wrote:Why is Yale's NY bar passage rate so low? Either way, the fact that stat is used to calculate any %age of the score is bogus.

I still wonder why the leak had the retarded paragraph. And most definitely what kind of device they use to scan it? just fucking awful...

That's very high (around Harvard's). The NY bar is one of the four or five hardest in the country, I'm pretty sure. Duke is at 87%, Fordham at 89%, Cornell at 90%, etc.JSUVA2012 wrote:Yale students too busy studying impractical theoretical BS?69sofine wrote:Why is Yale's NY bar passage rate so low? Georgetown is pretty much on an even keel with UCLA, UT, Vandy, and USC in terms of total score - not sure if anybody's mentioned that yet...

I'd assume that USNWR would want the rankings to change as much as possible for sales.doyleoil wrote:haha good point - that 4.4 is awfully highsbalive wrote:

I give credit to JSUVA for calling the BS first paragraph. I think we were all skeptical with good reason. The "I told you so..." should be dropped...

USC holding firm at 18, but are they inching closer? Or is everyone else falling back?mallard wrote:That's very high (around Harvard's).
