Top Law Schools

Hello Current and Former Law Students,

I have been accepted to a number of schools that rank from 40 to 106 and have received up to a full ride at some schools and have very little debt from my time in undergrad (11k).

When it comes to choosing schools, should I value the rank, location, or cost of attendance more?

You are going to need to retake. First, DC is the single most competitive market. Top 20% t13 kids dont get DC. Boston is very insular, so usually you either need hardcore ties to the area or go to law school there. Same with philly.

Second, your employment goals are also out of reach. First off, you dont go in-house right out of school. You need biglaw for a few years first. Also, there is really no such thing as medium size transactional work. Its rather rare.

So, both your employment goals and locations are not really possible from this list of schools. You can either retake and reapply to get into schools that give you the right opportunity here.
