All loans
-Where you are from and where you want to work, and other places where you have significant ties (if any)
I'd like to work in the Northeast (DC, Philly, New York, Boston). I'd like to avoid the South, if possible.
Your general career goals

I'm assuming TCR is to skip YHS, even if I get it?

Came in hoping hoping this was a choice between Columbia/NYU and venereal disease. Disappointed.

Haha, well played And OP, just realized no one has answered your question: 1st, no, do not rule out YHS if you get in. Since your ideal career path begins with a clerkship or DOJ honors you should definitely consider the trinity, especially if you are going to get some need based aid. 2nd, given your current options, I think the Dilllard is your best option. You'd be spending a bunch of money (CoA and otherwise) in your NY options and I'd take UVA for free over that any day. Duke with Mordecai is tempting, but is a pretty similar option to the Dillard, and you said you want to avoid the South. Plus, UVA has relatively strong clerkship numbers and a solid reputation in government, which is where you want to end up, so why not?LetsGoMets wrote:Think that's how you typically get VDRunnerRunner wrote:Same. ETA: I know UVA is in the South as well, guess I just think of Durham as being more classically southern.
