Transfer from Thomas Jefferson School of Law

Post by TheStrongMan1 » Sun Mar 08, 2015 3:12 am

Hello TLS,

I am a 0L matriculating at Thomas Jefferson School of Law this fall. I believe I'm capable of more than what my current numbers indicate (148/2.9) because I was sick when I took the LSAT. My goal is to be amongst the top students the first semester (I am aiming for top 1-2%) and transferring to top 5 school.

I would like to ask if being top 1% from Thomas Jefferson School of Law will allow me to transfer into University of Chicago (ED) or one of the top 5 schools?

Some info about me:

1- Can't retake the LSAT (took it 3 times)
2- Tough UG major relatively (computer science)
3- Goal is bigLaw (ideally V10)
4- Please don't tell me that I will not be able to get top 1% in Thomas Jefferson :D . I will work very hard and I know I will outperform my peers (as I said, I was sick and that is why I did not do well on LSAT; which is not the case for the other students at Thomas Jefferson).

Thank you TLSers!
