Iowa vs. Indiana
Iowa= Full tuition scholarship
Indiana= $40k/year (OOS tuition $48,600)
I'm from NJ btw. 25 minutes west of Manhattan. I have no ties to the Midwest. I also have Seton Hall with $135k and I could live at home to save myself from taking out COA loans, but it's not an option because of the section stacking which I'm almost positive takes place there and inferior job prospects compared to these two.

I think, perhaps, you might want to not go to a school so close to Vegas.
Just my thoughts.

Iowa is the only one that makes any sense.

Anyone else going to Iowa? I like how the inside of the law building looks like (from pictures I saw recently on here). It reminds me of the inside of my local library.
Good luck to you dude

I know I'm late to the party, but if what you're looking for is a stable job that will allow you to pursue a gambling hobby - I would not recommend law school. What about something like teaching. The pay is low, but there is better stability - and you get more vacation time to gamble.

Re: Iowa vs. Indiana vs. Colorado
i thought about doing that with some of my other debt too
you have to factor in origination fees
also, the moment you have to take out plus loans, it won't make sense unless your interest rate for ug loans is horrendous
so make sure you have some cushion in case of emergencies/bad budgeting, etc

Hey OP message me. I'm an outgoing 3L at Iowa. (1) you made a fiscally wise choice. (2) bring a car.

I'm in a similar position with almost full tuition at Iowa and with full tuition at Illinois to add in the mix. I'm from WI and prefer to remain in the Midwest. Indiana is my top choice but only offered me 75k. What chances do I have to negotiate that up? (162 and 3.5 UGPA w/ 3.9 in M.S. program)
