Baylor VS Tulane???
I've been accepted to both Tulane and Baylor but was denied at UT. I will most likely practice law in Texas.
I've look at sites to compare both of the schools and it's hard to find a clear answer...
Does anyone here have an opinion on which is more prestigious? (Baylor or Tulane)
I'm not really sure what area of law i'll decide to practice.
Any advice/suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks.

I'd go to the one that offers you the most money, has the best employment outcomes, and is in the location you want to work. My gut tells me that would probably be Baylor as it is a Texas school.

I think this is a considerable "IF"... have you looked at they employment numbers? how much money are they giving you?LegalEagle111 wrote: I will most likely practice law in Texas.

What do you mean by prestigious and why does that matter to you?

Baylor will probably place better in Texas than Tulane. The best option would be to retake and reapply to UT or SMU if you want to work in Texas. Tech if you're okay working in West Texas. Baylor has many horror stories associated with it, but if you really don't want to retake, Baylor is probably the better option for working in Texas.

Tulane is most prestigious.
It's the Harvard of the East Southern Central.

What part of Texas? If you want the more southern areas of Texas closer to the Louisiana border, Tulane is probably a good choice. Baylor sort of sucks in the most horrible ways, so if you want to be in the Dallas area, then look at SMU. Why not UofH?

If UT is off the table then go UH or SMU.
Gun to my head between your two options I would go Tulane. I wouldn't attend Baylor under any circumstances.

Neither is prestigious and you may be unemployed. Don't do it.
