Sorry I'm drunk. DEFINITELY Vandy + UT: ahead of my "notable mentions" but below UVA and Duke

No. For non-law schools, sure. 60% employed only 25% BL/Art 3? Not in the same category as UT or Vandy.

Also the drunk dude said william and mary and UNC. Clearly, he did not need to say that he was drunk.

I'd say it also depends on the city you're targeting.

Example: If you're targeting Atlanta, you need to scratch Emory off of that list. While it has lay appeal, its reputation in Atlanta BigLaw is absolutely on par with UGA.

And before any of you come running in here and say "But waaaahhhhhh! Emory is private and OMG OF COURSE it is better than UGA!", know that I have seen the required cut-offs for BigLaw in Atlanta. I'm a Paralegal (in the process of applying to LS) and know the cutoffs for all the schools that traditionally have a number of students shooting for Atlanta.

Also, I suppose with that said, you are absolutely insane if you attend Emory at half or less over UGA (assuming you're an in-state student or someone who was accepted to both and received the in-state equalizer from UGA). Again, their cutoffs for Atlanta BigLaw are identical.
