Re: Choices
do you have any fucking idea how tough it is to find cost effective work in Florida? there's a sizable contingent of current C/O 2016 posters on here who targeted Florida from a variety of T14s and couldn't get it. In fact, I only know of two people this year (on TLS) who successfully snagged a Florida SA, both from top schools, and even the guy from Yale with great ties couldn't get his top choice city.

I am preparing LSAT from SPAM. Is it enough or I start online tutoring?

wut?FloridaLaw wrote:Since when UF/USFFSU are better than Emory?
UF/FSU, considering you're an in-state resident of Florida, are likely much better options for someone aiming to practice in Florida over Emory.
You probably won't be getting any serious $ from Emory that will make it affordable (unless you're URM); that's roughly 250K (pre-interest) for a 20% chance at a job that will service that amount of debt.
UF/FSU should be acceptances, and might even throw some money at you. And even if they don't, the in-state tuition is relatively cheap, although most, including myself, would highly advise against going to FSU/UF at full in-state cost, unless you have a job lined up or a way other than loans to pay for costs.
FSU/UF place much better in Florida than Emory, and looking at the reality of your costs, Emory should easily be out of the question.
Also, check out LST if you haven't.
And quit being a dick.
HTH.

This. People got multiple offers in NYC while totally striking out in florida to the point where they didn't even get a callback therejbagelboy wrote:do you have any fucking idea how tough it is to find cost effective work in Florida? there's a sizable contingent of current C/O 2016 posters on here who targeted Florida from a variety of T14s and couldn't get it. I'd do the two question marks. I'm assuming that's like a wild card where you make different life choices going forward like retaking the LSAT, becoming a firefighter, etc.FloridaLaw wrote:3.5/160
Emory - almost sticker
WUSTL $
Richmond $$
Stetson $$$$

Re: Choices
From Emory, don't go at sticker. ESPECIALLY, if you're going back to FL. Best options are UF/FSU/Retake/Cyanide Capsule. Lol @ don't like those towns, but going back to FL.

OP, don't ask for advice and then act like a pompous ass when receiving said advice. (Not your usual suspect so I chimed in to back those who care enough to prevent your poor decisions).Doritos wrote: I'd do the two question marks.
