berkeley 1/2 tuition vs usc full tuition

Post by abcdef1234112 » Thu Jun 26, 2014 4:29 pm

applying next year, but a friend recently had the following decision to make and i was interested in what y'all think: he had some money saved up to make the debt numbers turn out this way, so here is the financial DL: usc with 0 debt, berkeley with 90 thousand in debt (some money saved up to make the debt numbers turn out this way), or Loyola with 0 debt. probably want private practice, probably want los angeles. thoughts?

Depends what career outcome he wants. "Private practice" sounds like biglaw, and 90K/Berkley is an ok outcome.

Had a similar outcome and similar goals. Went with Berk.

I'd go with Berk. Both are good options and no debt is appealing. I don't think you can go wrong either way so long as you want to work in Cali.
