Schoolwise UVA is the no brainer but the personal stuff TLS can't really answer for you. I made a choice similar to this and had to factor in my family situation and ended up at the T20 instead of the T14 (although to be fair I think there was less of a chasm in job prospects as what you're looking at).

Regardless of what you decide make sure you retake in June and give yourself one last shot at Harvard.

Like the first responder said, no one can answer the personal questions for you (although employment-wise, even in Boston, it's UVA in a landslide).

Did you not get in to NYU/Columbia? Or were they just full sticker?

Maybe you should give the LSAT one more go and shoot for Harvard or one of the NY schools with money. Absolutely no reason to sell yourself short and take BU with those stats.

IF:

Boston biglaw > biglaw anywhere else (probs NYC) > any other law in Boston THEN UVA

Boston biglaw > any other law in Boston > biglaw anywhere THEN BU

I'd pick UVA here, but nobody can judge for you given your family concerns.
