Notre dame v. Wake v. Temple

Post by smg419 » Tue Mar 25, 2014 8:20 am

Hi, I'm trying to decide on a law school. I received half tuition scholarships from wake and notre dame and a full ride to temple. The rest I will have to be paying through loans. I want to go to a school that will give me the best career opportunities for what I will be paying.

Numbers? Goals? Geographic region you want to work in? Those schools are all regional and all over the map.

Notre Dame would have the best career prospects of the three and is by far the most national. The other schools are very regional whereas ND is probably the most national school outside the T14 with an alumni network that would help you place a great job anywhere. The difference between a half scholly at ND and full at Temple would be made up within a few years at most following graduation with dividends thereafter. That said, if you're looking to work in NC, go Wake, if you want to work in Philly, go Temple, otherwise if you're unsure of where to practice, go ND.
