19. Would be 16 if I knew I was going to hit my target on my LSAT score.

Yeah, no offense intended! Was just being a smart ass.lawschool22 wrote:That would have been genius haha. Don't worry, it's all in good fun. I know you were just being helpful/informative to your decision making process, and I think you were. HYS + Chicago + Penn & UVA.
You may ask why no Columbia or NYU. With my numbers, I figured I have a decent shot at Ruby but Hamilton is out of reach, so I saw little point in applying to Columbia when COA at HYS with financial aid works out cheaper for me than Columbia (or NYU) with 1/2 off for tuition. Plus, Columbia refused to provide a fee waiver. On the other hand, I did receive fee waivers from Penn & UVA, so I threw those in for good measure.

T-20 but only cuz I got a fee waiver from each school and want to provide another data point for future Non-AA URM applicants

12. The entire T14 except Yale and Northwestern. I plan to up that to 13 soon because what the hell, might as well give Yale the opportunity to reject me.

Final number for me is 6. I thought it was going to be a lot more initially.

That's exactly the same as me. 19, but more like 16 if I wouldn't have been so cautious in applying.JustHawkin wrote:19. Would be 16 if I knew I was going to hit my target on my LSAT score.

Applied to 9, may up it to 15, depending on LSAT score

I applied to 13, and I don't regret that number thus far. Three schools outside the T14, and 10 inside, for a variety of reasons.

Re: How many schools do TLS members apply to?
Trolling? Because I didn't apply to NYU? I didn't apply to Chicago for that matter, or Michigan (I got fee waivers for both Michigan and NYU but just don't see myself attending). I'm not a fan of cold cities, and would probably only go to Columbia with $$$ or if I was accepted to the JD/MBA. It's about 10 freaking degrees in NYC now...lawschool22 wrote:Egregious NYU trollingkartelite wrote:9. In rough order of preference:

Lol it was sarcasm. But now that you mention it, you do know almost half those schools are in cold cities?kartelite wrote:Trolling? Because I didn't apply to NYU? Re: How many schools do TLS members apply to?
Yeah I'm aware of that, unfortunately of the T6 schools only Stanford is in a pleasant climate. I'm pretty fickle about the weather, so being further south gets a bump of a couple spots in my personal ranking.lawschool22 wrote:Lol it was sarcasm.
