If you have a guaranteed job, go to the cheapest one. If not, don't go.

it won't because as I previously mentioned yet people seem to overlook, my family has multiple firms and I have a guaranteed job. Just wanted to see if there are any normal people on here who could offer some actual valid points about either

if you have a guaranteed job, retake for a full ride (or close to it) at any school near your parents' house, so you can live with them and graduate debt free.

OP: out of curiosity, what do you mean when you say your family "has" multiple firms?

What sucks is that this moron, assuming they are telling the truth, has a job lined up. So awesome that nepotism makes up for OP's stupidity, right?ManOfTheMinute wrote:*Hearjhd125 wrote:I don't want to here neither, they're both bottom tier blah blah. New York Law isn't a real place or thing. All I know is they sent a bunch of fliers to my house, but no attorneys I asked had ever even heard of it.
You should get a real job and go to suffolk night school for LS if all you need is a JD and to pass the bar to have a job as an attorney. Why go full time to a school designed for part time students?

Eh, often these posts are written to poll tls in a vacuum so they don't hear RETAKE all day, they just want to get to the best wrong answer..I have a guaranteed job, I'm rich so debt isn't an issue, etc. Not always of course, but often.Docreviewsux wrote:What sucks is that this moron, assuming they are telling the truth, has a job lined up. also more generally isn't this website "top law schools"? Not to be a snob or anything, but if you sign up and make an account on this site to talk about these schools you aren't even remotely on topic, so of course you are going to get shot down.

Re: Sticker at Suffolk Law or 18 grand to New York Law?
Why dont you try to realize that a million different things can happen between now and when you get hired so you should try and keep open as many options as you can? The consensus here is that either of these schools suck so that will leave you with 1 viable option: work for family. If that falls through you are going to be completely fucked. Or maybe it wont fall through, but then business tanks and the firms fall through, then youre fucked. Or you work there and business booms, but turns out you hate it, you cant leave because you went to a school that is not reputable and you only got a job through nepotism, youre stuck in a job you hate, or fucked in other words. A retake and going to a good school could mitigate some of these extenuating circumstances.

It's fine to go to a rancid TTTT if you have a guaranteed job lined up. That doesn't make it worth six figures of debt to do so. Go somewhere that you can graduate debt free from.

You'd think more people would understand this, huh? OP obviously knew what s/he was getting into by posting on here and deciding between two TTTs.jbagelboy wrote:also more generally isn't this website "top law schools"? Is your family going to expect you to have a decent grasp of the english language upon graduation?
Also, you may want to check the bar passage rate of those schools. I'm going to guess they're abysmally low.
