No update in rankings?

Post by timmydoeslsat » Mon Apr 29, 2013 3:44 pm

Obviously TLS serves large a role for students. Is there a reason for the delay in posting the most recent USN rankings?

Excuse my five month absence from this great place!

That did not stop them from being posted last year in March. Or the multiple years prior to that. If you believe the rankings do not matter, that is fine.

I agree they don't matter, but I'd rather they update them or delete that section of the site entirely rather than leaving it out of date.

This has been asked about eight thousand times in the Ask Mods thread, and the answer is that it's being worked on.

they really should ditch the Educational Quality and Gourman Report rankings as those haven't been updated since what, the 90's?

I would appreciate it if the Mod's expedited their work so I can add "T77 Student" to my resume. As of now I am stuck with just "T777"

For reals. I don't want to be lumped in with those LOSERS from Berkeley.

If UVA doubles their school funded jobs to 40%.... it could happen. :)

UVA could have an average grant/scholarship amount of 40% of tuition.
The only thing more powerful than promise of money in the future is money in hand today. UPenns got no chance!

I remember the last time UVA was ranked ahead of UPENN.... that was... 19-what... hmmmmm...., it is almost like it has never happened. Oh well. :)

I dont believe UVA will rank ahead of Penn. the (non school funded) employment data just isnt headed in that direction. My bet is they stay equal at 7 for a while.

I doubt if TLS needs a copyright from USNWR. . . .hard to understand why posting a few pages is that difficult. Agreed, no need for those other obsolete rankings.

Yes, i believe he was the dude who kept debating the answers to LSAT questions. Either trying to say that the incorrect answers were right or trying to answer questions that didn't pertain to the prompt-all under the guise of "I'm just trying to understand the LSAT to an even higher degree." God help whoever is unlucky enough to have him as a classmate.

I guess Penn and Berkeley grads will just have to be content with better employment outcomes.
