I have a 3.3, is there any way...

Postby philbaker » Sat Apr 06, 2013 1:42 am

...I can get a full ride into a T14?

If so, what LSATs would I need to get into which schools?

Realize it's a long shot, but obviously in this market I don't want to graduate with debt. Right now I have $$$$ to go to school at UC Irvine, and wondering if I'm not just better taking that.

Neither.

Retake and get a lot of money at a t14. With a 173+ roughly Cornel, GW or NU could dish out 90k.
Still a lot of debt after graduation, but you can't avoid that with a 3.3 unless you go to a bad school.

Hahaha. I knew you would comment on this, Dre, but I didn't know it would be this epic.

And OP, shoot for a 180. I'm sure you could get pretty close to a full-ride scholly from a lower T14, although splitter cycles are fairly unpredictable.

Or at the very least a T20 would bite and then he could use that full ride to negotiate something with a T14. I'm sure Cornell or Penn would at least give you something if you mention your full ride to Vanderbilt or UMN.

No, but with a 175 or higher, a half ride or more at a lower T14 is possible (though perhaps not likely)

Lower T14s are trying to poach students from the T6 with full-ride offers. No T14 is going to give that kind of money to someone with a 3.3. Just look at LSN. Someone here last year who had a 3.3 and a 179 (I think) got $105K from GULC, and that was considered extraordinary.
