Yeah man PAYE.

Well I'm not on either plan but I find this confusing. Even many of the links I read about it seem to confuse IBR and PAYE as if they are the same thing. I guess IBR wasn't good enough so they had to enact a better plan?

Well I mean the main difference is 10%/20yrs on PAYE vs 15%/25yrs on IBR, so it's a crappy deal either way really

Also some people depending on when they took out loans may not be eligible for PAYE

I feel bad for your kids if you don't retake and get more $ at these schools. They need to get an education too, and you throwing $200k at Lewis and Clark isn't fair to them. You can do it. Take the LSAT again and study really, really hard. Get a great scholarship at either school and then let your kids use that $200k you have b/c you didn't spend it on law school to get their own college and post-grad educations.

Assuming you won't retake, this is tough given your situation. L&C has better employment stats but is definitely more expensive tuition wise ($38k a year tuition?! That's insane!).

I'm biased towards the ducks however, as I grew up going to Eugene as a kid and love it there. I feel like the UO alumni network should be ridiculously strong but LST definitely shows otherwise. Oregon is a great school, however, given your situation, I would go to L&C.
