It will not guarantee my motivation to attend law school (or school in general) remain as strong as it currently does.

This indicates to me that you absolutely should wait a year before throwing yourself into 250k debt. It is much better to be an 0L with a higher LSAT score than a 1L with 70k in debt if you realize you don't want to be in law school. If you don't remain this committed next year, you may not really have a desire to be a lawyer.
