Florida Schools with Differing Stips (Poll)
I am a Tampa born native, who graduated from FSU. I am currently deciding between these 4 Florida schools:

Assuming FSU and UF would have the same CoA if not for the scholarship, I vote FSU.rad lulz wrote:What is total CoA at FSU?

Don't go to UM on anything short of full ride under any circumstances. Full ride to stetson for a tampa resident is not a horrible decision, but plan on dropping out if you lose your scholly. The stip might not be all bad because you would probably want to drop out anyway if you're below median at Stetson.
FSU sounds like the best option. What is total COA at FSU compared to Stetson for you?

Yeah FSU unless you can get UF to come down some. Then it's more up in the air.LegalNugget wrote:Approx CoA's:

Best option would be to retake and aim for a much better schools. Among these 3 options, FSU is the best bet. Just be aware that there is a very high probability that you will be 75k in debt and not be able to get a legal job after graduation.LegalNugget wrote:Approx CoA's:

I can only speak to the situation at UF. Employment isn't as bleak as people make it out to be -- but you still need ties.rad lulz wrote:Among these 3 options, FSU is the best bet. See if you can get Florida to match FSU. Don't be afraid to hold out until the end. That Miami stip is awful.

FSU seems like the obvious decision. UF has a good program in the region but I don't think it's worth it over FSU if you have to pay sticker price. Best of luck with your decision.
