Same reason I went with the Galaxy SII. But since T-Mobile has switched its non-contract plans to make them so much more attractive than my current one, I'm going to just save up and lay out the money when my contract expires. I've gotten three or four good updates on my Nexus 7 since buying it. Google is incredibly fast and helpful with updates to Android.Lasers wrote: yeah, but the nexus 4 didn't have LTE. plus, i'll be on contract anyway, so i need a phone that a carrier will subsidize.
Plus, the Nexus 4 is only $300 now. You'd make up that $100 difference in no time with a cheaper plan.
