Syracuse is a good choice if you're looking to be unemployed with a graduate degree.

If the debt load is managable through grants/scholarships, would it still be a terrible choice? 50% full-time employment is not great, but it's better than a lot of the schools ranked ahead of it/non-T14. If it cost less than 50k total hypothetically, would it still be a mistake?

Join the military. Do a really good job. Get them to pay for LS. If you can swing that, you'll not only have preferential treatment for being ex-mil, but it also won't cost you anything. Also, this is an opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.

50k would be total, including COL. I'm just curious as to what the reasonable debt limit would be for a Tier2-lowTier1 type LS. I know about stips and all that, let's just say hypothetically that's what you would be graduating with.
