I'm from Oklahoma but would rather live in KS/MO, KU would cost about 75k, i won't have any debt, me/parents would be paying for it, looking for 60k+ firm job, is it worth it?

60 is a good outcome. I think you're plan is reasonable considering your parents are paying.

Still, if they are paying, why not re-take and shoot for WUSTL? Depends on what kind of employment you want. I mean you are using your free education on KU. If you want a larger firm in KC, surely WUSTL will have better connections than KU. Then again going to KU will make employers, especially larger firm employers, comfortable with the idea that you want to live in the area, where OKIE to WUSTL to KC may be an odd sell.

If you want small firm or gov, definitely do KU.

If your parents are 100% paying, you are absolutely sure you'd be ok living in Kansas for the rest of your career and you'd be fine with 40-50K instead of 60K starting at a small firm then KU isn't a bad choice. Though keep in mind that you have a decent shot of ebing unemployed as well.

If you are fine with a small firm job in the region go for it. Your chances at a big firm even in KC are effectively zero. Like less than 10 KU grads a year end up at them and people in the top 10 individuals have been rumored to strike out regularly. That's not to say the school is bad, just know what you are getting into.
