Cornell Student Body

Post by Chickensoup » Thu Sep 13, 2012 7:03 pm

How would you describe the student body? Are most from the state of NY or surrounding areas (NJ, CT)? Is it a very wealthy student body? I know someone who attended Cornell as an undergraduate and described it as populated heavily with "rich Jewish people from Long Island"? Is that true for the law school as well? Wouldn't bother me as I am from LI and have a thing for Jewish women ;)

The only Cornell grad I know was a rich Jewish girl from Los Angeles. She was pretty hot too. So no, they aren't all from Long Island.

I would say the that a large portion comes from the NE ( NY, NJ, CT, MA etc). But a significant number are from CA, FL, OH, and the midwest. I'm not, but it does seem like the majority of students I have met are Jewish. I believe the law school is different from the undergrad body in that there are not many exuberantly wealthy law students
