Post by enigmabk » Thu Aug 09, 2012 3:52 pm

Would UCLA Be worth attending with COA of 100k?

Aiming for LA biglaw, no undergrad debt, finance major ug

( also, does anyone have their employment stats on biglaw? seems difficult to find)

Short answer, yes. That amount of debt should be easily serviceable assuming you can land midlaw to biglaw.

Will you be taking out 100k, or is that what you will owe at graduation? Considering that UCLA only put 28% into biglaw+fed, figure out what your monthly loan repayment would be, and if you could pay it with a 50k or so a year salary.
