NU's website still has Entering Class of 2011 stats listed. Please tell me you have a source...

I'd be surprised if he was, rayiner is a pretty reliable poster.

I'm definitely trolling. I was wondering why anyone would care about the medians. I just realized now that there is such a thing as people still applying to law school.

Damn it! For a moment, I thought I was suddenly competitive at NU without a retake

RU-C class size is 117 (-143, -55%). No word on medians.

They had their whole merger fiasco during the heart of admissions season. I wonder if the Rut-C contraction will perk up the Philly market at all. Probably not, as all the otherwise Rut-C students seemed to go to Temple instead (maybe why Temple gave no real $$$ last cycle), Temple being down only 6.3%, yet Penn being down 9%.

For a lot of people, Temple at sticker over what might have been a pretty good scholly at Rut-C probably was a bad deal...the Rut-C guys prolly being NJ residents and paying non-resident at Temple.

Though, if I recall, Rut-C stuck to their stips last cycle; that was probably the dealbreaker.

Down 143?!

For reference: http://www.nj.com/gloucester-county/ind ... s_dro.html

Some caveats:

1. The class a year earlier (c/o 2014) was one of the largest classes in the history of RU-C law.

2. Gov. Christie announced a merger between RU-C and Rowan (a mediocre local school) in Jan. 2012, where Rowan would take over the law school. Since most people have never even heard of Rowan, this probably had some meaningful impact on this cycle. The controversy wasn't resolved until July, when most applicants have made a commitment to one school or another.

3. RU-C had a stream of negative press during the admissions cycle unrelated to the merger regarding their misreporting of student debt at graduation, misleading admissions practices (with the media even making personal attacks on the admissions dean, Camille Andrews), and desperate emails sent out awarding full scholarships to anyone that wanted one (including people who had never even taken the LSAT).

Dean Solomon (dean of RU-C law) had announced at orientation that they may be admitting a Spring start class to add to our class size due to the Rutgers main campus being unhappy about our budget. More to come once that is all figured out.

God forbid you merge the two Rutgers law schools, creating one affordable, appropriately sized law school for New Jersey...

Well, if all law schools decreased size of classes by as much as RU-C did, we'd have a lot less problems in legal employment.

Is Illinois ever going to release their new numbers?
