They sign up rich kids based on (a) their D.C. location, and (b) their Tier One status (#49). But when USNWR sees the LSAT decline, (b) will be ancient history.

Well, I guess they're out of the T14 next year.

Granted, I was only half paying attention for most of Orientation, but I don't remember them telling us.
Thanks for the thought frankly. My patience is non existent but I will tough it out.

From what I have heard Wisconsin has decreased the class size from 242 to somewhere in the 220's. No word on median LSAT.

W&L

188 (121) (55% increase!!!)
164 (164)
3.62 (3.65)

Wow.

ASU

152 (171) (-11%)
163 (162)
3.65 (3.62)

ASU has increased median LSAT and GPA both of the last two years...not sure anyone else has done that...

Any word on BC, BU, UW, or Emory anyone? I know UW jumped last year...can they do it again?

I wonder how W&L so badly overshot its target class size.

Impressive that they only dropped .03 on median GPA given how much poaching went on late in the cycle. Probably the already low median LSAT played a factor, but I'm glad there wasn't much drop.

ETA: Actually, I'm surprised that T1 schools in general didn't have a massive drop.

Thanks for posting this -- did Michigan put it up somewhere on their site or did you get it elsewhere? I only ask because I've been looking for it myself and didn't find it on their site yet.

I'm kind of surprised they sacrificed their lsat median rather than reducing class size, especially since Gtown admissions in general seemed more geared towards the LSAT than the GPA..If anything I would have thought they would have tried to keep the 170, and dip lower into the GPA

LST has Georgetown's c/o 2014 at 579 - does anyone know if that includes part-timers? The total this year is 578, but 522 full-time. Still a ton of people.

Lol. But seriously, I am curious to see if they messed up their medians because they use splitters so heavily.

According to ABA Guide for C/O 2014, GULC had 69 part-time and 510 full-time (579 total).

Penn uses splitters heavily? How would you say it compares to V? I'd prefer to ED Penn instead of V, but it seems like a bit more of a gamble whereas a 171+ is like, an autoadmit at V.

Haha, I've never seen someone actually mistake Penn State for Penn before this moment.
