what's your background?
It may be "easy" for someone w/ a masters in EE, who has 5yrs WE as an EE in a tech company to get a patent law job after graduating top of his class at a TTT school, but seriously, this really depends on a lot of factors.

i asked exact same Q on chicago schools (nu/uchi/loyola/kent/depaul) w/r/t to patent law. many patent lawyers family friends told me in exact words "dont bother going to law school if u dont get into top 20" and that was in the good economy.

EE's don't seem to have a problem getting jobs. Environmental science or neuroscience people do.
