Wash U Placement Stats

Post by KellyFan2000 » Tue May 15, 2012 10:23 am

Just finished looking at Law School Transparency's Class of 2010 Data Clearinghouse stats for Wash U. Pretty brutal. Everything else about the school seems top-notch, but the placement stats are giving me pause. Would it be possible for some current students to comment on how things are currently trending (better, worse, or the same) on the employment front at Wash U?

In regards to employment there is never a catch-all, if your from STL it does pretty well, but if you are from GA trying to land biglaw you are going to have to crush grades. WUSTL is pretty generous with the scholly offers though, and after T14 pretty important to realize because a majority of students will NOT get big law

WashUStL just doesn't have a significant natural or home biglaw market, and it hasn't mastered the placement game as has Vanderbilt, yet it wants & draws a national student body.
