You've thought this quite carefully, so I don't think you need much in the way of advice from me or anybody else. I'll just say that the ranking difference between Davis and Cardozo really doesn't mean anything, especially given your career goals. If you're truly OK with the idea of living on the East Coast in general then I'd say Cardozo seems like the best decision for you. The zero interest loan angle really clinches it for me. The UC system is a total financial mess, and California is a disaster area for the legal profession right now. You could easily be looking at the difference between paying back $30K and $75K for what are essentially comparable schools given your goals.
