Can't be related to MTal. Too little egregious Hot Topic trolling.

I'll bite.. for NYC Fordham is probably the lowest I would go to for free. Regardless of whether or not it's free, you still need to get a job at the end of it. Decent grades at Fordham could maybe do that. But, accounting has a lot of opportunities outside of law school.

No pretentiousness intended good sir. Trying not to put too many specifics out onto the internet.
True, a 3.95 and your username "CPAnoob" will definitely identify you. In fact, I'm Facebooking you now. Add me?

True true. I don't hear that many good things about Fordham giving out many full rides though.

Another case of douchey sounding person asking a semi-interesting question? I'm gonna take a swing at this and rephrase what I think you're actually trying to ask:

What is the lowest ranked school for which you'd turn down T14 at sticker if you received a full ride? I know it will depend on target market so maybe just answer with a clump of schools based on the major markets (NYC, Chicago, Boston, SoCal, NorCal, Texas). Or just answer with the school that's in your target market.

Edit: Let's also assume the T14 isn't HYS...god this is getting complicated.

A range between all of them and none of them depending on your opportunity cost.

Yeah this is complicated. I definitely wouldn't go to anything below BU/BC for free, and even then, I really don't think I would go to either of those schools (but then again that's probably just because I'll have better offers, but for the average candidate BU/BC for free is great I think. See, this is so personal it's complicated!)

This. Minus the part of me sounding douchy.

So I would be interested in hearing about schools that give access to the NE region, namely NYC. Pretty much the lowest ranking school one would go with a full ride, worth the opportunity cost of attending three years.

Great so let's hear different answers including the thought process behind it.

I mean really it's all based on numbers and market right? For me it's UIUC. Pretty bad placement but still a feeder to Chicago where I have ties.

That's true. With LSAT in the 170s you could reasonably get money at T14, depending on how good your stats are, possibly full ride down to T20.

What kind of schools would give full monies to those in the low 160s? Mid 160s. High 160s?

Well for me, it'd be dumb to go to anything ranked lower than BU/BC (I should mention that I want Boston) because I presumably will have better options. For the average candidate, I think almost any tier one for free that does pretty decent in its own market is a good option. So basically on the USNWR rankings I'd go all the way down to BYU, and then probably a sprinkle more that are lower than that but do well in their market.
