One of the most tired and worthless 0L sentences on TLS is "Regional School X has a solid reputation in Small Legal Market Y." Yeah that's great, but if there are 250 people in your graduating class, and only a few hundred legal jobs in the city being snatched up primarily by students from Ohio State and Case Western, as well as a few students here and there from the other seven law schools in the state, guess what that leaves the majority of CM students doing?rad lulz wrote:Too bad Ohio is a shitty rust belt economy with way too many schools and not enough jerbs.1776 wrote:Cleveland Marshall has a solid rep in clevelandcheckster wrote:Retake and go OSU, worst case scenario...Case. Someone was saying it's a shit hole, but it doesn't have much worse of a rep in Cleveland than Case. If you want to work in Cleveland, might as well go to CM, because it's a lot cheaper, and Cleveland firms like CM. There isn't a huge preference for Case.romothesavior wrote:One of the most tired and worthless 0L sentences on TLS is "Regional School X has a solid reputation in Small Legal Market Y." All the law schools in OH are regional, and rankings don't matter, according to TLS. After T14, schools are regional. It's a lot cheaper than Case. The poster wants to stay in that region, therefore CM makes the most sense.
No need to get all bitchy.

They don't. The only thing that matters is how they are "ranked" by employers in their respective region against eachother. Cleveland-Marshall might have a decent rep in Cleveland, but not as good as Ohio State and Case.1776 wrote:
