Fordham - 10,000 vs Cardozo free no stips

Post by jozzy22 » Mon Mar 26, 2012 10:54 am

I want to practice in NY.
Not sure whether or not I want biglaw.
Not opposed to PI
Parents assisting with tuition.
Cost of attendance are the same - commuting.
I want to graduate with the most opportunities.
I want to be a trial lawyer.
Planning on negotiating with Fordham with money from Vandy.
On waitlist for other schools.

Thanks for your insight.

Fordham gives you better opportunities vs 'Dozo, but coming out debt free is a big thing.
Whether those opportunities are worth an approximate $100k difference is open to debate.
How rich are your parents? (as in, how hard do they need to struggle to pay the tuition bill?)
If they're barely scraping by, go to 'Dozo. If money is no object, go to Fordham.

This isn't something that can be answered by strangers.
'Dozo is a solid school; Fordham is better, but not T14
It really comes down to how easily your parents can get the cash and how you feel about taking it from them.
