Best Law Schools for Scholarship with a 156/3.3

Seeing the thread about Savannah Law School brought this question up in my mind. Does anyone know which law schools in the eastern half of the U.S. (especially Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions) would award full scholarships to someone with numbers like a 156 LSAT and a 3.3 GPA? I realize these will be third and fourth tier schools, but I know someone with those numbers who would go to law school if they got a full ride somewhere.

You're not getting a full ride to Montana with a 156

Of course my advice to my friend is to retake... but if there are some schools she can get a full ride to, maybe she'd be better suited to just go for it.

The schools she would be getting a full ride to wouldn't be worth going to... because the mojority of their graduates make up the 48% that radlulz is referencing.

She has guaranteed employment upon graduation, so that's not an issue. She just needs a degree that will allow her to sit for the bar.

The Mid-Atlantic and Northeast aren't the first regions to come mind when discussing small, parochial markets. OP's best bet is a retake.

She wants to remain close to home if possible, but is willing to go anywhere within a 10 hour drive of D.C.... so it could include Ohio, PA, NC, SC, etc... She would be coming back to the DC area to practice after graduating.

I'd be worried about stipulations...

Hopefully she can find an option without them but I'm just not so sure with those stats.

Unfortunately any school that would offer a person with those scores a full ride is going to have harsh stipulations on their scholarships and may very well section stack. Even with a "guaranteed" job lined up it's still a risky proposition especially since you will competing with other people with scholarships and everyone else who is busting ass to get a jerb.

And then there is the question of what constitutes a guaranteed job. Really the only thing you can count on is family or a job that will let you work through law school. Many a paralegal has gone to law school on the off-hand remark by a partner and been disappointed after.
