Lubbock is honestly not that bad so I don't see why that has become such a universal reason to bash Tech its not like your going to be doing all kind of crazy adventures during law school anyway. The only negative I could see is that it could limit you regionally in West Texas by not being able to easily network and get back to the Eastern side of the state. Still due to the extremely low CoL you can live a pretty nice life even on a starting salary of about 50k out here. I'm not really that biased, sure I went to Tech for UG but I am going to UH next year.
