I have gotten relatively the same amount of money from both schools and am having trouble deciding between the two.

Which school would put me in a better position for post grad?

Depends on where you'd be seeking employment.

Isn't Nova tossing out 2.0 stips on scholarships? If the stips are different, just take the lower one.

As a Nova 1L, I can tell you, you can negotiate them down to a 2.0 GPA stip if you try.

How much will they cost? Where are you from?

Philly area has better job opportunities than NYC metro area where you would need to practice. I'd go Nova.

This doesn't mean they will cost the same. Villanova's tuition is $37,780 and I believe for Seton Hall the number is $46,000. So you are saving $24,000 (+interest if you take loans) in three years by going to Villanova. Also I'm fairly sure the stipulation on Villanova is 2.0, and Seton Hall is probably top 50% unless I'm mistaken. So my answer would be Villanova.

I am from New Hampshire, went to school in Boston, and have been working/living in Boston for the past year. I don't have a preference geographically really which makes deciding even harder.

I got my stip taken off of the scholarship at Seton Hall and Vill gave me a 2.0 stip.

This is just false. I would agree though that 'nova may feed better into philly than sh into nyc, but to claim that Philly has more opportunities in a blanket sense than nyc is ridiculous.

At SHU you're fighting with both Rutgers schools, Columbia, nyu, Cardozo, Fordham, Brooklyn, and the list goes on. Nova will give you a better opportunity in my opinion.

You keep assuming that SHU's primary market is NYC. It primarily feeds NJ, not NYC.

Also, see this:

Yea... I'm a 1L at Nova, and no one ... not one person ... got below a 2.0 first semester.

The answer is going to be newt's moon colony if he attends either one of these schools.
