Does anyone know if they will be out at midnight or if they will release it whenever they feel like it.
If they're not out at midnight, then I'll produce my own highly accurate rankings for the impatient.

Lemme guess: CLS/NYU 1-2?

ETA: Although from the looks of this thread, they've changed that countdown clock before.

It's kind of refreshing to think that a bunch of stuffy Yale-grad Law School deans will be refreshing like mad at midnight...

Don't the law schools find out about the new rankings before they become public?

I wish someone with past experience could throw out a ball park time. If its within an hour or two of midnight, I might stay up. If its going to be tomorrow morning at the earliest..there's no point in even waiting.

Dude, go to the website I linked after I said 6 hours. (Sorry if this sounds rude,) but there is literally a countdown timer that people have been referencing in this thread. A little more than 2 hours from now.

I don't have personal past experience, but according to this ATL post, the rankings have come out an hour or two earlier than midnight the past two years. Who knows if that will happen again this year though. http://abovethelaw.com/2011/03/the-u-s- ... s-are-out/

That does sound rude. Last year they posted around 10:10 PM, so not on the official timer.

Would be highly surprised if they're not out before or at midnight. US News knows people are way too over hyped about these things and they wouldn't want to annoy people. This is their big reveal of the year... doubt they'll botch it.

Edit: I mean intentionally botch it. Not unintentionally let it leak like years before. Besides, schools do in fact get informed of the rankings ahead of the official release. If schools think it's coming out tomorrow, I'm guessing they're already drafting their explanatory/congratulatory emails to their student bodies.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
