By asking this question you've proven yourself too stupid to finish above median. So worry not my friend.

Oh I share your opinion that rankings don't mean anything. I was just stating the obvious.rad lulz wrote:Yeah I bet a ton of firms in Illinois will refuse to hire their grads.hellothisisme wrote:I guess people now have their answer about how Illinois' ranking will be affected by the scandal. They could probably shoehorn a law school in somewhere on that island. There's what, a few hundred students, a few dozen faculty. Put in some classrooms, an administrative office, and a library. BAM! Law school!Arbiter213 wrote:We'd be above NYU instantly.banjo wrote:Cornell should relocate its law school to Manhattan, rightnext to its medical center on the upper east side.on the sick new tech campus on roosevelt island Instant rankings boost.

How are people surprised that Stanford is ahead of Harvard? Stanford is better than Harvard and it was ranked ahead of Harvard for like 8 years straight from the late 90s to mid 2000s.

Re: Predicting 2013 Rankings
That makes sense, though I thought they would calculate that differently (like the number employed out of the number who WANT to be employed).bernaldiaz wrote:That employment number is low because the people that go to Yale often go on to do other degrees seemingly more often than the other top schools. People pursuing another degree do not count as employed.freestallion wrote:Wow about Stanford > Harvard now
And how is it that only 91.8% are employed at Yale? Surprising...
Thanks! I did not know that.ph14 wrote: They've been trading the #2 spot for over a decade: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... ?f=1&t=213.

If I had applied fairly early, there's no way I would've been held.
Oh well.

Re: Predicting 2013 Rankings
~8% of the class would only need to be ~16 people since their class is so small, glancing at employment stats from last years class 9 were seeking graduate degrees, 3 were "not seeking", and 4 were seeking jobs - so that would be 16, and out of that 16, only 4 would actually be looking for a job.freestallion wrote:Wow about Stanford > Harvard now
