T14 for Reverse Splitters
What T14 schools tend to favor reverse splitters? Which schools care least about the LSAT? Which schools focus more on GPA? Which schools are more holistic and give more consideration to softs, recs, PS, etc.?

Yale and Harvard are the only that really focus on softs (assuming you have the numbers to back them). I think Berkeley is known for focusing more on GPA as well.SehMeSerrious wrote:What T14 schools tend to favor reverse splitters? Which schools care least about the LSAT? Best advice to get into the T14 for a reverse splitter is going to be take the LSAT again, especially this late in the cycle. It also depends on your numbers. A 4.0/150 isn't going to get you any of them=\ Good luck.

All the schools that take splitters take reverse splitters. They have to. The problem is, There are a gajillion reverse splitters for every splitter, so schools get to be pretty picky. Hint: you're probably not a special snowflake.

Seh rants should be a solid soft as long as you pull it off in a 20 page PS.

I'm definitely a reverse splitter and got lucky with UVA. I've heard Michigan and Boult are kind to reverse splitters as well.

except if you have a high GPA and a high LSAT you get more acceptances and more $$$... so yes, yes it is.InGoodFaith wrote:Congrats, that's awesome! Maybe "retake" isn't always TCR...FavoriteColorGRUE wrote:I'm a reverse splitter with good news from Northwestern, Mich, Berk, and GULC.

I'm a big time reverse splitter (and URM) and received good news from Cornell, UVA, UC Berkeley, UPenn and UChicago. Good luck.

Re: T14 for Reverse Splitters
Heh, you guys are gonna hate me but... I haven't taken the LSAT yet (I'm about to in June.) I'm just really nervous about it right now because I won't have as much time to study for it as I want because of other commitments. My LSAC GPA is 3.89 and won't go up or down because of my massive unit count.
I am of course going to try to get the highest score possible, but of course there are no guarantees so I'm planning ahead just in case; I'm interested in joint PhD programs and not many schools offer a solid PhD program in what I want to do. I realized finding the right program and the right POIs on the PhD side can be more involved and time-consuming than looking at the T14 law school programs and I like to plan ahead.
But hopefully this thread is useful for anyone else interested in T14 schools that are reverse-splitter friendly.

I wasn't asking about my chances - the question was pretty generic and the answers help other people looking through the forum, not just me.IAFG wrote:So get off the Internet and get to work dumbass
