Are you asking if you should go for USD or a T1 school? USD is T2. What T1's are you considering? If you got that much money at USD I'd imagine you'd have some good options, right?

USD data:

According to ABA data for last year: 19 students transferred in and 5 transferred out.

Additionally, 5 1L's failed out, and 18 others left for other reasons (total of 7.1% of all 1L's).

Employment stats are dubious as they do not state how many graduates are reporting salaries nor, more importantly, who is in part time and/or temporary positions.

There is a high probability you will be at a 2-10 attorney firm after graduation.

I do, however, think you wouldn't be risking too much if you went this route based on your statements, since you say you'd be willing to drop and head back to work if things went terribly.

Do you like your field? If you do, and you can crack the top business schools, that sounds like a better option for you.
