Off topic, and I don't mean to derail this thread, but this really broke my heart. All of the Big East rivalries are going to die. SU/WV, SU/GTown, SU/UConn. It's going to be awful.
Anyway, back on topic, SU is horrendously over-priced for the prospects it has. Like the poster above said, you need a large scholarship AND a desire to stay in CNY. I don't know much about WVU, but it is much cheaper. You would still need to want to stay in WVU though, as I don't see that school as having much portability.

This isn't a very good statistical model, but I worked in student loan collections and most of the lawyers in default for their student loans seemed to come from Syracuse. Also, both of those places suck in the winter. If I was going to go to a law school that bad, I would at least go to the University of Hawaii.
