Re: Penn in ny
Does this mean:AbLSAT wrote:Does penn place better in ny then Fordham? Is it worth sticker over 90k at fordham?
A) you have a 90k scholarship at Fordham
B) It will cost you $90k in tuition to go to Fordham
C) It will cost you $90k total to to go Fordham
The answer is probably yes no matter what, but if you mean C, it could be a closer call if the choice is $90k debt at Fordham v $210 at Penn. Also, don't you have any other options if you are debt-averse? What about money at Cornell?

Re: Penn in ny
UPenn does place better than Fordham.
However, Fordham places very well in NY, so if you are given a scholarship, it might be worth taking. $90k is a lot of money, and will cost about $1000 per month to pay back.
You're better off going to UPenn, if that doesn't worry you.
If it does worry you, then going to Fordham is, well...
If you're worried about the money you should consider either not going to law school or going to UPenn. Even with $90k, Fordham will set you back over 100 large, so you may as well go all-in

Yes. NY is Penn's home market. Most firms at OCI are NY firms/offices. You'd have to beat out a lot of folks for a job at Fordham, not so much at Penn. Whatever the differences are, I think it's worth it. It's cheaper to live in Philly too.

When you realize that UPenn is a smarter option, you should withdraw from Fordham, so the scholly can go to someone else
