Go to Hofstra come back to Miami?

Post by hectorsoliman » Mon Dec 12, 2011 5:17 pm

I am in the process of applying to schools and was just wondering if going to Hofstra University will allow me to come back to Miami where im from once I graduate...or will I be stuck in NYC? Has anybody heard of graduates from there being able to find a job in the SoFla area? I appreciate the help in advance thanks!

It would be quite hard to find a job in Miami coming out of Hofstra. In fact, it'll be hard to find an NYC job unless you're at the top of your class.

I disagree. Hofstra alumni/ae are notably loyal. Their pockets of grads afford students placement above their rank in DC/LA/NYC/Miami/etc. You'd arguably be better off in getting Miami Biglaw by going to Hofstra than top 10% +LR at UF or a low T14 like Georgetown. Best of luck, looks like you're in great shape.

You're new here so you probably don't recognize the sarcasm. Don't do it.
