Umm... I think our placement is a bit better than that (at least if by "biglaw" you mean "market-paying gig"). I think more like 50-75%

For UIUC?? Hot dog. What do they think about candidates who have absolutely no ties to the area but wouldn't mind living there after law school?

No no no Northwestern.

I didn't have any statistics specifically on NU and was too lazy to look them up. Sorry.

I mean we don't really have up-to-date or accurate stats, so I am just guessing at how my class did at OCI

Honestly, graduates from OSU are probably in a better place than people from IUB.

That's probably credited, as they are actually in Columbus with very little competition while IUB is an hour and a half south of Indy with an IU-I that places decently well in the Indy "biglaw" market

And there is really only one legal market in Indiana. Ohio has decent sized ones in Columbus, Cincinnati, and sort of Cleveland, and then smallish ones like Akron, and Dayton. OSU may even have slight reach into Louisville. All Indiana has is Indianapolis, maaaaybe some reach into Cincy, and like the 25th best school for Chicago.

The data seems to agree with you, though neither school has stellar reporting

Agreed. Ohio is stupidly saturated. But OSU is still the best school on Ohio.

I think you're actually disagreeing

No, I agree. But it's not a huge margin. Ohio has a ton of law schools and no major markets. Markets that are close to OSU but not in Ohio, like Pittsburgh (which I'm most familiar with) don't have much OSU representation.
OSU has better prospects from the LST data, but I think it's close enough that I'd go with whatever is cheaper.
