Neither of these programs will lead to gainful employment, so pick the one you'd enjoy burning money on most. Just remember: Student loan debts aren't dischargeable in bankruptcy. Enjoy!

Why neither? You don't think Penn State is a good school?
I don't think 'Literary studies' is a good graduate degree.
Yeah, everyone tells me that. But I would to be a professor or a writer. I dunno, man.

If you want a less sarcastic, more friendly version of the above, it would be this: The odds are that neither program will ever be worth the cost of attending, and the debt will follow you the rest of your life. Don't go. "Neither" is the best response. I'm not saying don't go to law school, or don't go to any grad school, but don't go to either of these.

This is going the wrong direction. (Not gonna buy the "it was just a typo" argument, either.)

Okay, this is going too far. (Not gonna buy the "it was just a typo" argument, either.)
I don't understand how you can make a comment without researching your facts. My god, we have google ! Of course Penn State is a public IVY.

WTF? The only public ivies I can think of are Berkeley, Michigan, and UVA.
Penn State is definitely not a great school... not to the caliber of the above!

Well, lets get creative here. Any way you could do both programs? I'm sure the John Marshal/Penn State resume combo would do wonders. That way, you wouldn't have to worry about debt either. TTT JD + pubic ivy = profit, amirite?

Oh, wow. You should have posted those earlier. In that case, yes, of course Penn State is the obvious choice. Who would turn down an Ivy League education?!

Pro-Tip: People will not take you seriously when you support arguments with nonsense things like "public IVY."

Since OP reported practically everyone else to post in this thread, it got me reading the thread, where I noticed all of this:

Moral of the story: Glass houses, stones, blah blah blah.
