T-30 Part Time or TT Full Time??

Postby Impending1L » Tue Nov 01, 2011 11:34 am

Hi I'm just looking for some general input from people who have gone though the application process and know a little more about the job market waiting after school. I'm taking the LSAT in December and right now I'm PTing around 165, but I know I haven't peaked and I'm hoping to be around 170 come test day. My fear is that I bomb the test and I score in the low to mid 160s. If this is the case, would it be better to go to a school like Fordham part time or a lower division school such as UCONN full time? I know Fordham places well with big law, but do employers care if you pursued a part time track?

Neither.

Seriously, look at the odds of getting biglaw from fordham - you have to be at least top 25%, and 10% is more likely. So if you want big law, going to Fordham gives you between a 75%-90% of failure.

Retake LSAT, get 170, go T14.

I'm a transfer to CCN from a T25. I've seen the differences in opportunity first hand.

Edit: in regards to being a transfer, don't make the same mistake I did - go T14 to begin with. I am one of the lucky ones - an exception - but am not the rule.
