Good schools for family law?

Post by dkalinow » Thu Oct 27, 2011 9:11 pm

I am interested in family law. I live in CA, and was wondering if anyone in the TLS forums knew of schools in the Pacific region which specialize in family law? Also, I was told there is a link to rankings of schools based on specific specializations. Anyone have this link? Thanks for your help!

No school is "better for" a particular area of law than another school. It's just the classes you take. MAYBE a school has better clinics, but that won't help as much as finding a good job. Nowadays, finding a good job has to go with how good your overall school is.

So yeah, in your region it goes Stanford, Boalt, UCLA, USC, etc. in that order.

Specialty rankings are meaningless.
