Plus, you know, LEAD week started today and class starts on Monday. Moving again at this point would be a huge pain and probably a distraction for the start of class. Even if this were close (and it is not), the effect that would have on your start is weighing heavily in favor of staying put.

Duke. Anyone who tells you otherwise has been spending too much time on this website. Frankly, except for a drop in NYC biglaw prospects (and not that big of a drop at that) you won't hurt your prospects in other markets at all (they'll go up in the South).

Duke..no brainer here. NYC COL will make 60k difference closer to about 120k+ difference eventually. Not a great NPV positive decision considering you don't love NYC. Good luck with your decision, but the very skewed poll results says it all.

Wow, I've never seen such a one-sided poll. I voted Duke as well.
Cheaper cost of living, in addition to your 60k --> Duke becomes TCR when looking at the situation financially.
Add that with your personal preferences + career direction..
