Fordham sticker/Brooklyn 41 per yr/Dozo 23 per yr
Just got off the waiting list at Fordham... naturally I did not receive any money from them. Got into Cardozo with 23/year. Got into Brooklyn with 41/year. I have the option of living at home, although the commute is fairly tough. I have a fair amount of money saved up, since I went to undergrad on a full ride. Basically i'd be loan free from BK, I'd probably have to take out some small loans to live in the city going to dozo (lets say 25k total). And for Fordham, I'd probably have to take out around 70K in loans to finance everything including living in the city for the last 1, maybe 2 years. Need to decide very soon, so I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.

Retake and reapply. 3 years and 70k of your money for a 15% chance of landing a job, you can do better.

DO NOT listen to these people going to Fordham. Taking out 70k for Fordham is a TERRIBLE idea. Go to Brooklyn and suffer very moderately lower job prospects.

I wouldn't do Fordham for sticker. I'd review the job stats as per Law School Transparency, factor in your impressions of Brooklyn and Cardozo when you (presumably) sat in on classes/visited/spoke with current students, and pick between the two.

Go to Brooklyn, if not in the top 30 percent, drop out after 1L.

Go to Brooklyn. Graduating nearly debt-free would leave you able to take advantage of nearly every paying job option available. Worst-case scenario, if you end up unable to find legal work, you can go find a job elsewhere and not have a huge debt load dragging you down.

I'm confused, did someone say that Fordham only gives OP a 15% chance of employment? Even Brooklyn does better than that. I wouldn't attend any of these right now. Retake/reapply and get money at Fordham.

At 75k/year or about 230K for a JD, Fordham sticker is most stupid move anyone could do; a vivd example of financial suicide. And even if you have money saved up, why waste in these places? Put your savings in a retirement account; it's a much better investment than law school.
Brooklyn is not good either because you would spend 3 years of your life + cost of living to, at best, end up with a mediocre JD job.
Retake or Don't go to law school.

Don't do Fordham at sticker... Terrible idea... Of these three choices, Brooklyn is the best option, but make sure you're going into it with tempered expectations. The likelihood for biglaw is small, but having no debt is a huge plus.
